    In My Nightmares

    No longer will my heart
    Yearn for you
My mind tried to tell me
It was to good to be true

The love I have is gone
    Things have really changed
    I can tell our relations
    Will never be the same

    You stepped on my heart
    Shattered my soul to pieces
This has been bottled to long
It is time to release this

There will be no more kisses
There will be no more hugs
There will be no more caresses
There will be no more love

I'm sorry if this is harsh
    It may seem so unfair
But your no longer in my dreams
    You've become a nightmare

Not bad, not bad at all! It started off a little bit mundain and like the typical lost love poem, but you pulled it off. I especially liked the last stanza. I was wondering how the title fit in and this pulled it all together nicely.

    thank you so much :)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
