In The Corner Of A Circle

    Walking around and around.

Never seems to be a decent place to rest.

    Continued effort with useless results.

Need a place to just stop and lean up against without slipping "right or left".

Damn the circle it never seems to change. It just is what it is.

    Then suddenly it appears.

Is it possible for there to be a corner in a circle?

My mind must be playing tricks on me.

As I rest; I do not question why it is there.

I have found that corner in the circle.

I watch as the rest walk past me in their sinuous quest  to be a leader.

Inline, one behind the other; it becomes subjective through personal placement who is leading an being led.

Oh how they all will be followers; as they stare at the back of anothers head.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
