    In The Flesh

    I await the encounter
     up on this path
that grows steep and increasingly narrow.

Compelled to share and merge with another ...
I am hungry for a man not a King or a Pharaoh

He favors a Knight without armor...
    benevolent , courageous and true.

    An analgesic for my wounds
of a once to often dreamed dream that did not come true.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
