    In The Stillness

    In The Stillness

    In the stillness,
    of eternal quietness,
    I lose my ponderance,
    For the end of things,
    For that common goal.

As I seek to not think,
    I find the world screams,
    to awaken me.

Yet when I am in the stillness,
    And absorbed by merely being,
    I find no thought,
    I hear no sound.

    I see no difference,
    Between self and other.
    No I and that.
    No me and them.

    Perhaps the journey,
    To find the ultimate goal,
is really no goal at all.

    Perhaps goal orientation,
    is something from this reality,
    that has no place,
    in the ultimate Reality.

    It is likely,
    that this is true.
    For goal orientation,
    is a relative perception,
    from one thing to another.

So when one is in harmony,
With all that lives and breathes,
    one does not view themselves,
    as separate and distinct,
    from another thing.

    When one is truly,
a part of the intricate web,
    of the divine reality,
    one would not see themselves,
    as separate from that,
    and isn't that,
The purest form of Love ?
