Incarcerated Mind

As i look out this window, starring through the fence.I realize what they ment when they said build a good defence. My mind is strong, but it fell weak somehow. Now im doing a life sentence,in my own personal cell.
I may appear too be locked-up, but my mind is totally free .Playing with the children, bouncing them on my knee.Giving the goodnite kiss, whispering I Love You.Wanting too come home, and let you know my words are true.
Deep into the mind and the soul of the slave its hard to fight the heartach and pain,I would go insane, if i let this place corrupt my brain. So i STOP, take a look, and rewind the hands of time .I never did nothing wrong ,moreless commit a crime. I sit and ask myself how did this come to be.And i realize that in my mind, it is all a fantasy.
