Inside my head

Alone
Darkness
Consumes me
No light, no sound

No one around
I scream
Can't be heard
Locked away
Inside my head

The darkest place
To ever be
My head
The echoes
Overwhelmes me

Can't find
No doors
No windows
Noair
No one to care

Alone
In my head
Gaping blackness
Uterly and completely
Alone

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
