    Into the the City Night

Straight into town shot out from nowhere
         Hard looks from strange faces
Fast shuffle on smudged sideways city block to block
         Pass by dark alley stares
Screechs, Horns, steam from hidden grates
Flashing lights sirens as bodies move without concern
Bottles wrapped in brown paper held by distant soles
Fashion ladies of the night posing in the dim light
Pass the strong smell of vendors wares
Into the night they all come to life

absoutly amazing!!! im almost speachless, it sort of reminds me of the movie 'manakin' lol jk, ur words are perfect!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
