    is it me

     Is it me you see when you look at me? Or is it a reflection of what you want me to be? Am I the one you love or love to hate? Do you see us growing old together? Being lovers forever or am I just another love interest in your quest to find real love? Well when I look at you I see peace, and serenity. I see someone I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. But time and circumstances have torn us apart and all I'm left with are memories of what use to be when you looked at me. When you looked at me a saw a big smile on your face and your eyes light up. Now all I see is you starring at me, at I ask what are you starring at?
