    jace

    jace
i know you loved the feeling of getting high
but why did you have to get in that car
thinking about it makes me wanna cry
you could have gone so far
    jace
you'll always be my best friend
but my life came crashing down
when i heard your life was brought to and end
    i couldn't even make a sound
    jace
    if you were still here
i know what you would say
    you'd say blame the pole
well blaming the pole will not heal
the permanent hole.. in my heart
     jace
     i was at home reading
    when the phone rang
    i almost didn't answer it
    now i wish i didn't
    jace
maybe if i didn't answer that call
it would make it not real
i woke up said there's no time to stall
the whole way there i didn't know what to feel
    jace
    not all hope i lost
maybe ill see you again someday
but you had to pay the highest cost
i'm still not willing to give you away
    jace

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
