Just for Me

Just for Me

Tonight a storm is rolling in, tonight there's shadows on the wind and the moon it glows with euphoric qualities as the wave roll over the sea, just for me,

Tonight there's lightening in the heavens, tonight one man will meet his brethren with a melody that seems unbound and free and it uses harmonies that drift across the sea, just for me,

A rusty hinge squeeks as I open the door to where I once lived before, a spiders web holds corpse for the feast, I find myself running from the poison beast towards you in the sea, the deep blue sea,

Tonight my soul is full of fire, tonight we'll see the Druid's pyre and all eyes will rise with the coming of the bressze, yes I hear her now as she sings for me, just for me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
