    just lovin

    I see your hesitant motion
Compacted into such a flowing rigidity -
    This is one of many,
    Seemingly paradoxical humors,
    That draws me consciously
    Towards your reluctant demeanor.

    So sure and set...
    Yet, in a moment
    Weariness and fatigue issue bonds
    That bind thought to action,
    Rendering the best intentions
    A harmless reverie.

But that is your worst day:
    An idle daydream,
Which is among the purest pursuits
    One can pursue -
    The innocent, optimistic hope
    For a surplus of happiness.

Literally the day is yours -
That day you choose to take.
    I see no hindrance
    To the potential heights
    That will elevate
    Your eclectic presence.

    I am rapt with you.
I am ensconced within your trance.
For days I roam the earth erratically
    Wondering if it is Elysium,
    Instead,
    On whose grounds I tread.

Quite the way a flower unfurls,
Boasting its best petals in sunlight
    And warmed by solar rays,
Do I feel my inner clasps unfastening,
    Revealing a part of me
    I aspire to be.

    I know you,
But am not familiar to your touch.
    I see you,
But can not reach your soul.
    I miss you,
But am ignorant of my loss.

    Heaven may be the name
    For that perfect state
    Of mind and body
    Yet, for me,
    It wonderfully resides
    In you.
