    Kaleidoscope

Bending light waves painted in my left eye

Soothing and electric - I crack the sky

Deep blue abysmal mist turns to fire red

    - My limbs fall to my side

Nothing is real here, there's only the light

It inflames my soul and corrects my sight

Some say it is twisted but I never mind

I just crack the sky with my kaleidoscope mind.

    Sharp and provoking

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
