Leafs of Autumn

Leafs of Autumn

The falling of the leafs,
A sign of autumn,

What beauty,
When they change color.
From green to red, orange and yellow.
They fall to the ground,
Leafs of autumn.

Bringing smiles to kids faces,
As they jump in a pile.
Making parents stop and stare for a while.
The leafs of autumn.

Remembering the good times you had last fall,
Celebrating Thanksgiving,
Watching football.
Bringing family and friends together,
As the autumn leafs fall,
O how i love it all.

Leafs of Autumn.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
