Left To Die

Left To Die

I held my hand out to you.

I lay there injured.

You saw the blood drying on my skin.

Bits of me lay dead.

My voice cracking with pain.

I lay there dying.

You looked at me.

You looked straight at me.

I know you saw me.

I felt it.

You walked on.

Not a care in the world to help me.

You heard my cries.

I know you heard me.

I can see it.

You didn't turn back a slight inch.

You disappeared into the darkness.

I lay there dying and you walked on living.

My last moments spent on Earth were filled with pain, torture, and loneliness.
