Let It In

Let It In

a penny for my thoughts surely is not enough to get me to share
as my thoughts are many and full of despair

a short lived childhood brings somber thoughts and creates such hostility
within my very own fears

time is to heal fears and all that is ill but my mind keeps the truth  of my pain alive
that tugs at my sanity for all these years

just let it all go i say, let the fears  fly into the winds and be not bothered by such thoughts

so why is it so hard to let them go,
let them blow into the wind's dark night

why do they collect  in my mind's eye and occupy the thoughts of my childhood

help me, help the memories go away and let them fall wherever they may

help me move on through the darkness of the winds and let me my mind in to the
beautiful world that awaits me

i see the spark of glimmer and hope, but it is only a spot...open it up, help let it in
