Let Me Ask U Sumthin

If I was dead and gone,
would u miss me then?
If I come 2 u now,
would u be a true friend?

If i told u i wanted u,
what would u say?
Would u play me again,
just kill me with your word of nay?

What if u were n my position,
and I was n yours?
U know I would give u the recognition,
and open up the door.

I think of u n ways
that u would imagine;
From the color of your nails,
to your new hair fashion.

It kinda sick
the way I'm feeling like this.
I mean what else could make me feel
this painful, huftful, bliss?

I used to ask my mom
what love really feels like.
She let me kno
by turning her back on my young life.

Ever since I was 10
I've looked and searched 4 that figure.
But every time I find it,
it's just a mirage that withers...

But let me ask u sumthin...
can u feel my pain?
Can u dig as deep,
as my heart's terrain?

Can u find
what used to be
that part of me
that's on a leash?

Can u release this dog,
so ashamed to be?
Living n a world
where there's no space for he?

The soul is screaming
for comfort from U
Cuz' where else will it come from?
A task no one else can do.....

So let me ask u sumthin.....
can u save me?
I mean u'd be doing me a favor,
and this promise I'll keep.

If u showed me
what my mind can really keep,
I can gurantee
the benefits you'll reep......
