Poem Commentary

None of this is from actual experience though it kinda sounds like it.

To those who it matters there is an expletive (i.e. cuss word, etc.) albeit a small one.

Liar

You tell me
you just wanna be friends
then you go and touch my a$$ again

You tell your friends
that you're in my bed
Even though
you know
you're lying

you're such a liar
I'm burnin brighter
ya try to put my fire out
but you can't stop me

Wanna go higher
that's my desire
get outta my way
ya stupid liar

I'm gonna make it
as a big shot
someday

You're only
a pit stop
on my way

I'll never associate myself
with the lie of you
that lies up on the shelf

Stupid Liar
keepin me from my desire
I'll get higher
just watch me
no, don't stop me

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
