    Life is good

I love my life, I really do.
    Hope you love yours too.

    I am much older now
Wouldn't go back even if I new how.

All the trials of being a child
Go away and become more mild.

    Oh, don't get me wrong
    Life can make you strong.

    There will always be troubles
Just let them go like bubbles.

Just stand there and watch them fly
Very soon they will reach the sky.

Then they are not yours anymore,
So you can be on a sunny shore.

Try to be happy because you are here and gone
See how many verses you can learn from a song.

The older you get the more you find
How very important it is to be kind.

    So remember one impotant thing'
Open your heart and sing, sing, sing.

This is great!! I really enjoyed reading it. I think when we are younger it is very hard to let go, however, you poem challenges us to do this.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
