    Life

If i knew life was going to throw such a curve ball.
    I would never had played.
If i knew he was going to make me unhappy I would never
    have stayed.
For everyday it gets worse, just when I think it
    couldn't.
I think i need to find happiness, even though he thinks you
    shouldn't.
You keep the smile for no one should know, but deep down inside
    you just want to explode.
All the smiles are just a fake, all the tears are always when I
    awake.
Life deals you a hand, you take another.
Do your own thing, don't follow your mother.
She to was unhappy your father was gone.
You see the same pattern on and on....
    But thats life.

Good meter. Nice rhyme. Wise observation of a human condition, genetic or hormonal I think. But still a terrible condition. Needs more details but good.

This poem is much better.Very heartfelt and i like the style as well.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
