    Poem Commentary

    This poem was written for my husband Mark before we were married. We had only been dating for about six months at the time. The words of the poem speak for themselves. He helped me through a horrible period in my life and turned me around. We are going to be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary next month.

    Lifesaver

     Before you came

    I was a wreck

    I was in despair

    Thinking I was going nowhere

    Then you came

    You came into my life

    You saved me from myself

    And I love you so much

    You are my lifesaver

    And I will tell everyone

    How much I need you

    Miss you when you're not around

    Want you forever

    Feel drawn to your arms

    I will love you forever
