Light

In the early morning light stands a young man touched by the rays of it's growing sight. Warmed by the presents of its glowing dawn an awaking comes to a new day through the eternal lasting night surrounded by endless depth of darkness that seems to engulf the very essence it lay heavy like a blanket and seperates the body from the soul the world around seems distant and gaunt yet as hope begains to dim and courage begains to fail a faint glimmer comes from over the horizon a shaft of light splits the night into, as though it has never happened before the sun raises high overtaking darknes sending shadows fleeing and once again he stands in the strenth and security of the morning light he leave behind a night that is not darkness but grief and dispair there is a God out there who loves him and he is that light a beauty to behold

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
