Listen Up!

I told you you broke my heart
   - there was no regret.

I told you we needed counseling
   - you didn't make a phone call.

I told you I didn't know how to move on
   - you made no effort to restore trust.

I told you you needed help
   - you never dialed 911

I told you if you didn't get help I was leaving.....................

I told you,
   "Goodbye!"

Uh..well. For starters, you sound very hurt about whatever happened and you felt that you had to resort to writing it out. It was okay, I'll admit. the title doesn't feel like it suits the poem. The way your wrote it doesn't feel right. But, it's just my opinion...

Just curious - what would you have titled the poem?

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
