Lonely Man

Lonely Man

Where are you going my lonely man?
Across the desert, into open sand?
What are you looking for?
What is your quest?
For all you will find is ormenting loneliness.
Hold close to me and I will be your salvation.
No heart ache.
No more pain.
No self inflicted isolation.
Give me your heart.
Let me take this pain away.
You can't be alone forever.
Please don't go....
Just stay.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
