    Lord Free Us

    Lord, remove the scales from our eyes that we may see thee oh King;
    Lord, remove the darkness from our hearts that we my feel thy love;
    Lord, remove the chains that bind our hands that we may give thee praise;
    Lord, remove the bonds that hold our feet that we may run unto thee;
    Lord, remove all that which has a grip upon us that we may dive into thy Glory;
    Lord, Free us that we may walk in thy way and not go astray;

    Ahhh, sweetheart, I lost my passion for your poetry as soon as I read this one.If you believe and trust sooooo much, you would not have gone astray in the first place

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
