    lost

    I am so lost,
    so very lost,
    only you can save me,
    where have you been.

you left me lying on the floor,
    shattered, in bits and pieces,
    thrown across the floor,
    uncared for.

    where have you been,
    I lay here,
    used without meaning,
    taken for granted.

    not any more,
I will leave this haunted place,
piking up the pieces as I go,
    never looking back.

This one caught me by surprise! 0.0' This has the air of being abandoned and hoping and praying to be rescued from the agony...I'm so happy I found this site...:)

Good poem. It reminds me of a song I once heard. Be careful not to copy. It has a lot of meaning though. Keep writing.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
