    Love is Gone

    A river of sadness is flowing from my heart
    You said you loved me from the start
    You lied to me and it was true
    You killed my dreams and broke my heart in two
    Why did you leave me how could you let me go
    when you said you loved me so
    You found another that you loved more,
    and turned from me and walked out the door
    Now I am alone with my memories of what life with you was suposed to be
    How can I face the lonliness the emptiness of what was once you and me
    There will never be anyone to make me feel whole, for when you left
    and went away you took with you my soul.

    This is a poem that every time I read it's like a mirror where I see me and that love from past that was so nice and sweet, but at the end it also made my heart to bleed.

    Love lost is painful. Memories can remain forever sacred, though. And as you begin to heal, love will awaken. Your poetry is honest, heartfelt.
