    Love So Amazing

    Never knew until I read the Word;
A blood thirsty persecution no man could bear,
The mere site of His pain, men would tear
Beaten and whipped with razors on chains
    With foreknowledge He still came
His cross bloodied, battered, unable to see
His crown thorns, life dripped in His eyes
The sky a crimson sea, the burden of man’s destiny
Abba’s Spirit carried Him to the top of Calvary.
Nailed hands and feet VS rope and tie
He was dead; most did not believe Devine
But He arose again, man scars and all
Eternal salvation for sinners, peace for all
Our King in Flesh, bones and soul
To save us, from us, no better than dust
In His Spirit, life has no dusk.
Our ransom paid by His sacrifice
The act of His humanity a test
Such lowly creatures, in His image
With guidance to fulfill His will
To spread His message and love
Together we can help save this world
God’s work through branches of man
