    Love

    Time heals all wounds
    they say
    Your loss transcends time
    Twenty-six years means little
    fresh is the wound today

    I've had other loves
    but there you are
    always smarter
    always closer
    always more somehow

Our souls were married long ago
even death could not part me from you
What can death do after all
    Death and Love transcend time

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
