Second poem "All poems true about me"

Love's Reality

love, most of us see the word as something beautiful.
i have learned to see it as so something hurtful.
so bliss to the truth of how disaster full
and how i keep myself up staying hopeful and saying...
"maybe soon i will be the one she chooses, or i will just remain sitting here covered in brusises".
the heart is a fragile organ indeed,
it takes a lot of care and a lot of need,
it is a fact that one can truly die from heartache,
so one must be careful with what they do with such odds at stake.
my heart breaks, yet it was already broken.
my heart aches, yet it should be numb to cuts being open.
my heart beats, yet it should have been damned to oblivion.
I gave her the key,
she toyed with me.
i gave her my all,
but not even that was enough to make the call.
promises lost,
and all for what cost?...
my heart is growing dark,
and the lack of love tears me apart.
ill soon need to live like stark,
and use a heart made from
mechanical parts.
love is to not be easily grown,
and for my examples here have shown,
that the only thing love has sown,
is the tight rope of being alone.
for those who know my struggle will know indeed,
that this poem is about me,
and how i walk through life with a fake smile,
when my heart is fighting something so vile.
i loved, and now i have lost,
and all for what cost?
a dream future and seeing an i love you,
well you know there is something i need to say now....
fuck you too.
you let me fall,
now im gonna die,
tou built me tall,
and i cant fly,
you tore me
down,
i gave u this crown,
and now all i wear is a frown from you tearing me
down

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
