LOVING

I use to think that love would come on a horse and a handsome night would be on it. I have learned since then that love comes only when we are prepared for it.
Love is a feeling that's never changing or disguised by undertones of jealousy. I guess you could say that love is a pure emotion of true giving. It never bends towards selfishness or has holes that leaves us questioning. It teaches us expression in its purest form.
Why is something so freely given is so hard to give back?
Loves means caring a burden of exposure of ones soul. The exposure becomes our weakness or vulnerability. To receive or give love you must be vulnerable.  Maybe thats why as humans we are fearful of really truly loving.
We have been blessed with the gift of love...or is it the gift of exposure? Our blessing includes the capability to love to its extreme and at the same time, how can we appreciate that love which we don't not possess? Do we? I hope so...

Very well said, How you describe love, do we really feel the full capabilities of our hearts, the inner peace floating inside , the butterflies swimming are these but deep emotions of a love stirring abound in the depths of a heart. Love if full of rure and raw emotions, tears, sadness, joy, bliss, passion are but a few that come to mind.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
