Man of Faith

Poem Commentary

I wrote this after listening to Martin Luthers speech again and it flowed without hesitation. I hope you like it.

Man of Faith

There once was a man with courage like
no other
His wisdom would never waiver;
his faith would never falter.

He stood for all he believed in,
with a vision for his fellow man
to spread the word of God;
with hope across this land.

He wanted no wealth, no power
no fame,
his goal was peace and unity his
dream.

He gave us hope, with every fiber of his soul
he marched and preached
that one day we'll see his goal.

With that he left us his legacy,
of HOPE, and PEACE and UNITY.

Enjoyed that poem! Its a shame that so many who claim to follow that man do not imitate his example and follow his directions of preaching and teaching

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
