Meet Me Half Way
Some days I sit and I feel so sad, reminencing of the past and what we once had. Our involvement wasn't planned by us, in fact we were both pretty scared. But think back with me to that special time and the love we once shared.I remember seeing this look in your eye, a look that spoke without words. I remember our first kiss and how awkward it was, kind of absurd !
Even that thought just put a smile on my face and it made me wish we could go back to that place.
I'm certain we've both experienced similar troubles in our past. And obviously for whatever reason our old relationships didn't last. Maybe we've given up in a sense- assume there's nothing left to do. Maybe it's time to take back our love, create the happiness that is deserved for me and you!
It seems like work sticking it out, like spinning your wheels, consumed with doubt. But it's not sticking it out, but sticking together. You and I a team. Lets prove ourselves wrong for once, and make good of something pristine.
I know I loved you some time ago and I know you loved me too. I hope you want our happiness as much as I honestly do!
Meet me half way, lets each do our part. Lets make our goal getting back inside one another's heart !
