    Mind and Body

Empty, alone, when will it be my turn?

Sad, rejected, shouldn’t I have learned?

Strong, focused, he will come when he’s ready

Emotional, impatient, unstable mind, must keep it steady

Night, day, the dark and light collide

Smile, frown, my emotions I cannot hide

I believe my true love will come, one day

Patience running low, how much longer, I cannot say

They say to wait for him, but why?

The pain in my heart is there, I cannot deny

My loneliness has taken control of me

My mind has mixed up, sea sickness, I’m at sea

My body is lost my heart is empty

Where is he, he needs to use his key

He needs to unlock my heart and heal my wounds

I don’t know his whereabouts, but hope he comes soon

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
