Wrong Move

What happened to me
I was doing well, no distractions
With this small action
My head has been filled with thoughts
Thoughts that make me want to cry
In a matter of minutes feelings change
And nothing remains the same
Do you take this as a game
Because if so, I need to know now
Games are what I do not play
I like to gain
Love and happiness
I've been beset with heartache
I told myself not to like you
And I did my part
But my heart
Has a mind of it's own
Feelings have began to grow
But seeds have not sown
Themselves into place
And the little that I feel can be erased
I have no regrets, but I do make mistakes
Do me a favor and help me rake
The pieces together of my shattered heart
No, you didn't break it
I did that all by myself
You are obviously bad for my health
I can't go on this way
Love is pain, so they say
But love doesn't exist between you and I
Before I fall for you, I'd rather die
Not literally, but emotionally speaking
For my body is all you're seeking
