    Mommy

    3-20-08

    Once a little girl,

    so frail and afraid,

    of the big bad world,

and what was hers to take.

    But then she found confidence,

it fell right into her life,

    to have and to hold,

    for him she will fight.

    She will not back down,

    or be swayed by man,

    of their opinions,

    and what they don't understand.

See cause a mother and child,

    have such a bond,

    that no man can handle,

    or even pursue on.

    Through out their lives,

    this love will grow,

in a way she always hoped,

but a way she's never known.

    This child will be fulfilling,

    in a way of unseen,

with the glow on her face,

    in her eye such gleam.

For him she will be strong,

but only as strong as she can be,

through the eyes of her child,

    She is his MOMMY.
