    MOTHER

    When you long for someone,
    Who gave you life,
It’s the worst feeling in the world.
Now, I can honestly tell you,
That at 28 years old I still long for my mother,
And her smile, her touches, and smells.
But, if I could give up 365 days,
Just to get the chance to have her smile,
    Her touch and her smell,
    I would.
But now at 29 years old,
I get the opportunity to have all these things,
Because the mother I long for is now my best friend.

I love mother poems. This dedication poem to her was lovely and pleasant. Keep writing. Great stuff.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
