Mrs. Fall Apart

oh my god what have i done i feel like i cant be overcome,
i cry so much i just wana quit so maybe i will feel better in a lil bit.
i miss you no matter how mad bu yet, i still can not forget.
i felt small so small i could fit in the eye of a needle,
i felt like an old woman so nieve and feeble.
the hottest summer day temp. couldnt get hotter then i,
the darkness and selling ofmy criying eyes.
love lost love willnever be found,
my heart took you and burried you beneath the ground
in space
in a small place
that i tied with lace
so i could never see your face
but just in case
i needed you again i left a mark.
but only to be reminded that you never loved me to begin,
so frankly i didnt only lose you i lost a friend.
i lost my mind and my heart
so you can call me Mrs. Fall Apart!

Good Job Alice! I felt the emotion, frustration and anger with each line. Just remenber, Whomever caused you this anguish is not deserving of you anyway. It's your gain (sanity) and their Loss. (your love).

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
