    My Child

    I may not always be,
The mother you want from me.

I may not always have the answers you want to here,
But I will try to ease your fears.

I may not always say yes,
But I will not love you any less.

    My Child....

    God gave you to me,
So I could open my eyes to see,
That I could leave here with you, a part of me...
    In Our Son Joshua Alan....

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
