    My Deliverance

    There is no soundness in my flesh,
    Oh Lord, for Thou has called for me, my test.
    There is no health in my bones,
    for cancer has played its final song.
    As I amused while the fire burned, for now, it is my turn!
    My life has been full; husband, children, family, and friends,
    But now, Oh Lord, you have come to save me from all my sin.
    My hope is in Thee, I try;
    Hear my prayer, Oh Lord, and gave ear to my cry.
    For I am a sojourner, like my father before me.
    Hear me! Hear me! Hear my final plea!
    Oh Lord, my sister has left with a sudden sigh;
    The hurt is real inside me, the tears are real I cry.
    I constantly ask the Lord above why you must die!
    It seems He has a special job that just no one could do,
    Jesus answered, I need an angel, Sis;
    That is why He sent for You.
    Your love for rocks, hills, gardens, and valleys that lie,
    God gave you to enjoy before you die.
    God gave you all these you see;
    Husband, children, and family, even me!
    My love for you will go on and on just like Dad and Mom's
    Sis, your memory will play like a song.
    Written in memory by her request
    As she faced life's chilly death.

    very nicely done!

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
