    Poem Commentary

    To my beloved wife Lennie

    My Love My Wife

I set in the cool summer breeze and I'm thinking of your smile
It's always a bit sheeepish like an imp that gets caught in the act
Your laughter tickles me with an innocent giggle that i know
Hasn't had its own way even enough and yet still has a lilt
Some times your child like faith excites me with renewed hope
Because my own is often flagging
I love your tender touch you always give with all your heart
you give me great joy and quiet mind .
Tempting was the night that stole our hearts
    and is revisited every moon
Beseeching us to fathom the depths of love
Yearnings that begged us to lay against pleasures
And the ecstacy of the moment
