    Poem Commentary

    Just a brief piece to get me started again. I have journals of poetry that I may put into a computer but for the most part I try to keep it fresh. Never looking back. I believe that poetry is free flowing thought that should not be dweled upon or over thought. If it comes out of your heart or mind it will flow. If I have to force it out than the piece was not true. Hopefully this is my first of 2010 with many to follow. I did not write at all in 2009. This year I promised myself I would get back to my art. Thanks for reading.

    My Muse

    She glides as she moves

    Through rooms with no other

    Shines and she glows

    Steels without cause, without meaning,

    Not a thought

    No desire No fear No straying off track

    My muse she is written my rhyme has come back




    She is striking to many

    Yet visible to few

    My muse she is haunting

    Though her purpose is true

    Her name is like angels

    Her stare is like rain

    Her hand holds forever

    Her words will remain

    When her rhyme leaves you empty

    Leaves you thirsting for more

    You will question your feeling

    You will always adore

    While my muse keeps me focused

    Keeps me begging a call

    My muse she is mine

    Though not really she is all

    I freaking love this! 'Her name is like angels/Her stare is like rain' Thats pure poetry. Its beautiful. I find myself reading it again and again. This is a poem that will haunt me. So very well done. Most definitely going on my favorites list.

    This is stellar and full of flowing lines that are like vines full of grapes to consume: tasteful and sweet with flavor. Excellent!

    DJ, I like this poem very much, also enjoyed reading your about me and your little message on the forums captivated my attention to come searching for more. I am adding you as friend. Haven't been around much but when i come I check on my friends and read their work. I need to post more of mine though...

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
