My Prayer for you
I said a prayer tonight
Just for you
I asked for happiness upon your life
For God to place ease
Upon your heart
To help lighten your load
I asked him ever so politely
To help clear your mind
To give you strength
And wisdom when you wake
In the morning to face the day
For you to see what you do everyday
Is such a gift
And lastly,
I asked God to please
Help you to smile today and always
Even when you see no end to the day
To smile when it hurts
To smile when your heart soars
To smile because when you do
You have the face of an angel
