Never Leaving Like You

I remember the old days when you would come to my house.
And seeing that smile on your face just made my day.
I used to think that our relationship was true and beautiful.
Until that day you broke my heart.
I keep asking myself, what did I do that made you not love me anymore?
Then I realized you just used me!
You never loved me but you knew how to persuade me!
You knew those brown eyes of yours went deep into my soul.
You knew your smile sent goosebumps down my body giving me a wonderful sensation.
You knew everything you needed, to be able to make me love you.
But after you finished using me, you broke my heart in two.
You would say lets live together.
What bothers me is I believe you.
The next thing I knew your with another girl.
What happened?
Did I just disappear from your life?
I'm still here!
I haven't left!
You're just to busy to realize that I still love you.
I don't want you to leave!
I'm here waiting, and I'll always be waiting.
The love I have for you wont leave as quickly as you did.
So I'll tell you one more time!
I love you, Forever!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
