NUMB
Time decided to stop
No pain, feelings or emotions
Nonetheless, tears trickled down my face nonstop
Wetting my skin
Wetting the floor
But I don’t react
Just let them fall.
Hands shake
Heart beats faster
Anxiety and disappointment builds up
But time has stopped
So I close my eyes.
Exhausted
Confused
Frustrated
Angry
Hopeless but pain free
Done with expectations.
Eyes open
Tic toc
Time didn’t stop
But a world shattered stands in front of me
I heard and watched every piece fall… the rest of my soul broken
Numb I stand now
For no more pain can be inflicted on what already is…
