Poem Commentary

Giving glory and the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.

One Day in December

One day in December,
There was a moment to remember,
For three wise men from afar,
Were guided by a star;

On a mountainside shepherd's slept,
Near to the sheep they kept,
Until they saw in the clear dark night,
The great light that was so bright;

In the night they awoke in a fright,
Only to see the greatest of sight's,
Fear not the angels sang,
For Christ is born was the song they rang;

Traveling by night they followed the light,
To Bethlehem to see the sight,
First the shepherd's then the wise men from afar,
Following the brightest of stars;

Christ is born is their story,
To tell everyone of his glory,
As angels sang to our newborn king,
About his glory and his reign;

Hark the herald angel's sing,
Glory to our newborn king,
For one day in december,
This was a moment to remember.
