One Perfect Rose

One Perfect Rose

Summer flowers begin to fade
As the autumn winds sweep thru our days
And the wilted petals of our lives
Are swept away as the fall winds rise
But the memory of one perfect rose
Will always bloom, will always grow
And the simple beauty of this rose will shine
As a precious treasure in our hearts and minds
A loving sister, a trusted friend
A beautiful story that will never end
For up in heaven summer never fades
And the flowers bloom thru the endless days
And into His garden that forever grows
God just planted "One Perfect Rose"

Congratulations! Very sensitive and metaphorical to the loss of a love one! Rabanne.

Thank you! It's one of my favorites.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
