Say what you feel and dont worry about the others.
All they do is make zombies, your opinions are smothered.
It's easy to be the same, to not question the norm.
But it takes courage to question, and weather the storm.
I once told a girl she was brave for being different,
Now there's a hero. One who chooses to be a miss-fit.
It takes a shallow minded person to keep their voice down.
To hide in the shadows, and blend in with the crowd.
What's special about that? Silence doesnt matter.
No one's ever made a difference by keeping quiet and following after.
All you children do is drink, because thats what's "cool".
But has anyone ever stepped up and called you all fools?
That's what you find fun huh? throwing your life away.
Your mind swallowed by the poison, wasting precious days.
Well I'm here to say that not everyones the same.
I wont mess my life up, I'll actually use my BRAIN.
Im stepping out of whats expected, and in the end, I wont fail.
I wont follow your path.
Ill make my own trail.
This life is about taking chances and trying new things,
and thats exactly what im doing.
