    Our Mansion

    Our Mansion- by Deborah Hiller
    When my husband was told,
    His cancer was bad.
    He showed more faith,
    Than I ever had.
He said he would fight this,
    His God would come thru,
    He prayed for a healing,
    His wish it came true.
    For he has been healed,
    No more has he pain.
    His cancer is gone,
    Such joy did he gain.
    For God loves my soul-mate,
But had work for him to do.
    To help build the mansion,
So I could live with him too.
    This mansion is great,
    For in it we’ll rest,
    My husband helped build it,
    It’s our forever love nest!

My best friend lost her husband to cancer and prayed for a miracle. I am going to share this poem with her. What a beautiful way to look at our personal loses in life hwich we should count as gain to Christ!!

The cancer has been hard for me to deal with... every time I think about him I think about his cancer... how did you make it through?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
