PAINT A NIGHTMARE ON YOUR BROKEN LIFE.
Live your life with all your regret,For the woman you have not met.
I will live with mine in tact,
And breathe my breath until the last.
You mangled my heart with ill intent,
But time will tell who's time was ill spent.
Because my world is filled with love's fire.
And yours only with things falsely conspired.
You will live forever in search of joy,
Forever engaging another ploy.
The joy you seek I held in my hand.
The joy you seek is the life I command.
So though you cut me to the bone,
You are the one who is left alone.
I close this door with a heavy heart.
I close it unwilling to truely part.
But time will heal the pain I bear.
And bring me love beyond compare.
And so I leave with tears in my eyes,
And send you soft and waning good-byes.
I will cry to be apart,
But you will be lost for what cannot start.
