    Perspective

All we ever wanted was to get a grip

now we are forced to take a trip

and we cannot help but hold the slip

    even when emotions run deep

nothing but the pages of fate will flip

You tell me to calm down because of the difference in your shoes

let us swap sides, trade places and do some exchange of goose

then you will see that golden eggs are not naturally set loose

you don’t eat your cake, walk up to the knead to get scoops!

A very interesting read, the flow was very nicely done, and I enjoyed the phrasing. Good job.

I agree unless you've walked the path that someone else has you haven't the right to place judgement on them. And compassion should be in our hearts.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
